A Romanian outlet has revealed the lucrative salaries of FC Steaua Bucuresti first team stars including South African star Siyabonga Ngezana.
Ngezana's move to Romania in July 2023 has been quite a success so far, as the defender has claimed several individual accolades and team trophies since making the switch abroad.

The centre-back won the Romanian SuperLiga in his first season, as well as the Romanian Super Cup this season. In addition to that, he was also named SupaLiga Defender of the Year at the 2024 Fanatik Super Gala in December.
As such, it is also no surprise that his market value has increased, according to Transfermarkt, as he is now valued at €2.2 million (R42.4 million) as of 19 December 2024.
FCSB owner Gigi Becali recently vowed to improve the salaries of his players in order to be more competitive in Europe.
Romanian news outlet DigiSport has since revealed the salaries of the 2024/25 FCSB squad, with Ngezana being in the middle bracket in terms of earnings.
The report claims that Ngezana earns €15 000 (R289 234) per month at FCSB. The highest earner in the team is Vlad Chiriches on €40 000 (R771 198) per month, while the least-paid player is Alexandru Musi on €6 000 (R115 726) monthly.
Elsewhere, Ngezana's side is set for a massive clash against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, 30 January.
But before that, FCSB will play Qarabag FK this coming Thursday. The owner, Becali, recently revealed that he expects Ngezana to start at the back for the upcoming game.
"The team is the one you know. Both panthers (no-Joyskim Dawa and Siyabonga Ngezana), Cre?u, Radunovic. In the middle Chiriche?, Sut and Tanase. Miculescu on the left, Birligea striker and ?tefanescu on the right, because I saw that he has recovered. This is the team and I hope we win," said Becali, according to Fanatik.
