News coming out of Egypt is that Al Ahly attacker Percy Tau is happy at the club and willing to commit his future to the 12-time CAF Champions League winners.
Tau's future at the Red Devils has been the subject of speculation both in the North African country and back home in South African in recent weeks, with the relationship between the player and coach Marcel Koller believed to be strained.

With his contract set to expire next year, Tau is said to have attracted interest from the Gulf region, while Kaizer Chiefs have also not been ruled out among the clubs chasing the left-footed star's signature as they look to get back to their former glory.
However, if the latest comments of the Lion of Judah, as he is affectionately known, are anything to go by, the interested will have to put in serious effort if they want to see the former Mamelodi Sundowns man on their books.
"I do not think at all about leaving Al Ahly and all the news spread about my departure is just news. I am ready to play for Al Ahly, even with half my salary, especially since this club has become my first family. So, thinking about leaving, it is impossible," said Tau, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new Al Ahly Stadium this week, per Egyptian publication wtkora.com.
"Ahly is a big club and no less than any club in the world, [even] if it is Barcelona or Man City or even Real Madrid. The popularity of Ahly is incredible. Even when I go to European countries, everyone calls me and asks to take pictures with me. And Ahly has become in my heart and [I am] ready to play for them until retirement."
Despite his well-publicized troubles at the club, including an outburst after being substituted in this season's CAF Champions League against Esperance, the 30-year-old remains one of the most important members of the Al Ahly side.

That he is in the last year of his contract is a tricky situation for the club, as if they don't sell him to the highest bidder in the upcoming transfer window, they risk losing the Bafana Bafana international on a free in a couple of months from now.
