With the transfer window in Algeria closing on September 10, this website has been informed that MC Alger are now closing in on landing Chibuike Ohizu.
The Nigerian is on the books of Sekhukhune United.
Talks have been ongoing smoothly to date between the two clubs and Ohizu is now set to depart within the next week upon completion of the transfer.
The 27-year-old scored nine goals last season and has always provided an important dimension to Sekhukhune's frontline.
Former Tembisa Classic and Bay United forward Abayomi Adebayo told this website a few years ago that he provided the start to Ohizu's career after recruiting him from the streets of Kempton Park to the Future of Africa Academy in 2015.
From there, Ohizu moved him to Leruma United, before he was signed by Jomo Cosmos in 2018.
