Brandon Truter is potentially being earmarked for a swift return to management amid links to the vacant post at DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune following the departure of Kaitano Tembo.
Sekhukhune confirmed on Tuesday in a statement that it had mutually parted ways with Tembo after just 12 games following an underwhelming start to the season.

Tembo won two, drew five, and lost another five matches as the club are languishing in the relegation zone at the start of the eight-week long World Cup-enforced break.

Truter's cause is fuelled by the strength of the relationship his representatives enjoy with the Sekhukhune hierarchy.
While Babina Noko still have the presence of senior coach MacDonald Makhubedu, assistant coach Thabo Senong, and Thembalethu Moses that hasn't stopped agents from rubbing off the names of their clients on the club as is the norm.
Plenty of the names have been submitted in applying for the vacant post, with Truter an early leading candidate who impressed in winning promotion with Swallows before an underwhelming period at AmaZulu.
From the nine league games that he oversaw at Usuthu this season, Truter lost four, won three, drew two, and was without a win in his last five games which ultimately led to Usuthu reacting on October 6.
In Truter's last five games, Usuthu scored only once despite having one of the league's best options of forwards who include Gabadinho Mhango, Bongi Ntuli, Augustine Chidi Kwem, and Lehlohonolo Majoro.
Truter had taken over from Benni McCarthy and has since been replaced by Romain Folz, who is now on the verge of a historic MTN8 campaign started by his predecessor.
Sekhukhune train in Johannesburg and only travel to Limpopo for games.
