DONE DEAL: Sekhukhune bring back Seema in shock U-turn!

Following our earlier exclusive, KickOff can now confirm that Sekhukhune United and Lehlohonolo Seema have reached an agreement for the 44-year-old to return as head coach for the 2024/25 season on a fresh new deal.

This publication reported on Tuesday that Babina Noko were in advance talks with the former Lesotho international in a bid to convince him to return his role as head coach.

This comes on the back of the imminent exit of coach Peter Hyballa, whom sources have indicated has allegedly not seen eye-to-eye with members of the technical team and even some players in recent weeks, prompting immediate intervention by the club's management.

The German mentor is set to leave Sekhukhune just a month into his tenure and without overseeing a single competitive match.

KickOff can now confirm that following negotiations on Tuesday afternoon, Seema has agreed to a three-year deal with Sekhukhune.

The offer was one of several on Seema's table, with Richards Bay FC and an unnamed Ethiopian outfit both having made concrete bids for his signature.
