'It comes at the right time' - Daniel Cardoso on Chiefs clash

Sekhukhune United defender Daniel Cardoso believes the upcoming clash against Kaizer Chiefs 'comes at the right time' as Babina Noko look to build momentum.

With one win and two draws from their three outings, Babina Noko are gradually finding their feet. The side has struggled with consistency this season; from a run of five consecutive wins to a run of seven matches without a win.

Cardoso believes the clash against Chiefs will help motivate Sekhukhune players and possibly kick off a run of good form heading to the Nedbank Cup clash against Stellenbosch to be played at the start of May.

Sekhukhune draw confidence from their 1-0 win against Amakhosi in January, a game Cardoso captained for Babina Noko in the absence of Linda Mntamabo.

"It's a nice fixture, especially after getting into the semi finals," Cardoso said.

"but this is where consistency comes into play. Like I said this season we went two or three games all of a sudden we stumbled. I think that's something we need to get over.

"I think it is a mindset and like I said it comes at a good time because it's a game against Chiefs an the [Sekhukhune] players know that they will be playing against Chiefs  - there'll be people watching. The Peter Mokaba stadium is going to be packed, that I can guarantee you so the energy will definitely be there.

"So I hope the guys are well aware at what's at hand. I think we get three points, it puts us in a nice position.
