OFFICIAL: Sekhukhune confirm Seema decision

Sekhukhune United have officially parted ways with head coach Lehlohonolo Seema ahead of the new season.

Seema was not on the touchline for the team's final two games of the DStv Premiership season after being placed on 'special leave'.

The top-flight side have now confirmed that the coach's contract, which expires this month, will not be extended.

"Sekhukhune United Football Club wish to announce the departure of Head Coach Lehlohonolo Seema," the club said in a statement.

"The Coach's contract which is set to expire on 30 June 2024, will not be extended.

"The club would like to thank Coach Seema for his dedication and hard work, during his time with the team and wish him the best in his future endeavours."

The decision remains a surprise after Sekhukhune managed to finish in fourth position last season and also secured a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup for the second successive campaign.
