BREAKING: Kapinga resurfaces at PSL club

Sekhukhune United have announced the signing of Lesedi Kapinga on a free transfer following the midfielder's exit from Orlando Pirates.

The club confirmed on Thursday morning the arrival of Kapinga, who joins on a one-year deal with the option of an additional year.

He had joined Pirates on a two-year contract ahead of last season after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.

However, playing time proved hard to come by for the former Black Leopards star.

Kapinga made just 13 appearances, contributed a single assist and was unable to find the back of the net during his time with the Soweto giants.

The 29-year-old will come as a welcome addition to a Sekhukhune outfit currently in top form having gone undefeated in their three opening matches of the season and sitting third on the standings with two wins from three.

He will be joining other former Buccaneers at Sekhukhune in Linda Mntambo and Thabang Monare.

New arrivals at the club also include Njabulo Ngcobo, who left Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season, and Sipho Mbule, on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
