Sekhukhune United midfielder and captain Linda Mntambo has issued his verdict on new club signing Lesedi Kapinga, who has joined on a free transfer after leaving Orlando Pirates.
Kapinga had joined Bucs on a two-year contract ahead of last season after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, playing time proved hard to come by for the former Black Leopards star.
The silky midfielder made just 13 appearances, contributing a single assist and was unable to find the back of the net during his time with the Soweto giants.

Following his exit, Kapinga was recently unveiled as a new Sekhukhune player and although he is yet to feature in a competitive match, Mntambo, himself a former Pirates player, is impressed with the acquisition.
"Sedi is a top professional player," Mntambo told journalists ahead of the Carling Knockout Last 16 clash against Richards Bay FC.
"I think from his time at Orlando Pirates, he showed that he can play in tight spaces. He is nippy, he is skillful, he creates opportunities and he's also got an eye for a goal.
"So, Lesedi knows what he has to do. He needs to put in the work at training so that the coach can select him for matchday. It's up to him to show the coaches that he wants to play.
"But the quality? No doubt. He is a top player, hence Sundowns got him from Black Leopards. Hence we signed him once he was available on the market. So, that tells you that he is a top player.
"He just has to put in the work and contribute to what we are planning and wanting to achieve as a club," added the 35-year-old.
