Makgaka has joined the Limpopo-based side as a free agent after departing Pirates at the end of last season.

According to a source close to Sekhukhune United, the club is also close to signing Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong.

"It's a done deal. Collins Makgaka now belongs to Sekhukhune United," a source tells KickOff.

"He is available for selection.

"The club is also working hard to sign a striker from Ghana. He is already here and doing well at training.

"He is also expected to sign very soon."

Makgaka made 17 appearances for Orlando Pirates since joining the club from Baroka FC in 2020 and managed to score two goals during his stint with the Buccaneers.

Sekhukhune United are currently in 11th position in the DStv Premiership standings after winning just three games this season.

Sekhukhune suffered a dramatic defeat to TS Galaxy on penalties in the Carling Knockout at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
