Sekhukhune United have cast their eyes on the signing of Chijoke Nnamdi Akuneto following his success in the Nigerian Professional Football League.
Akuneto scored 19 goals playing as an attacking midfielder in the 2021/22 season on his way to winning the NPFL top goal scorer award.

Last season he then moved to Enyimba and arrives at Sekhukhune United having been a league winner in the last two years with Rivers United and Enyimba.
The 25-year-old is a left winger with an appetite for goals and has been training with Sekhukhune.
"Sekhukhune are on the verge of signing former Nigerian league top scorer Chijioke Akuneto," says Samuel Ezemsinachi Ogbah, spokesperson of Activity Chambers, the work as the player's legal representatives.
Sekhukhune already have another Nigerian in their books in Chibuike Ohizu.
Ohizu has proven effective upfront whenever available for selection.
Babina Noko have so far signed Jamie Webber and Renaldo Leaner while Thabo Nkwana and Vincent Mashego have been promoted to the first team.
