Mahashe has vowed to use his experience with Baroka's relegation battle last season to help his new club survive the drop.
"I bring a wealth of experience and I've been around for quite some time. I know, I've been in this situation before with my previous club Baroka, so I know how o get out of that position," the centre-back said.
"It needs a lot hard work, It needs a lot of strength, it needs a lot commitment and a lot of sacrifices. Especially now that we will be playing in December and I believe so much in the team."
Meanwhile, Zulu said he was surprised by the club's position considering the talent at it disposal.
"Looking at the team, with the quality the team has, it is much more of a surprise to see that they are in this position they are in but the way things are going, the preparations for the second half of the season, I'm sure and I'm positive that a lot of good things are coming," Zulu added.
Truter will got toe-to-toe with his former side when Sekhukhune return to DStv Premiership action with a clash against AmaZulu on 31 December.
