Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo has officially found a new team in the DStv Premiership after he was released by the Soweto giants.
Ngcobo was part of four players released by Chiefs at the end of June, including Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe and Sifiso Hlanti, following the expiry of their contracts.
With the futures of Sithebe, Hlanti and Dolly yet to be confirmed, 'Mapholoba' was already linked with a move to Sekhukhune United, who were believed to have already secured his signature before Amakhosi announced his departure.

On Tuesday, Babina Noko took to their socials and announced that they have signed the 30-year-old defender, together with winger Joseph Mphaga.
The former Moroka Swallows man had fallen down the pecking order of centre-backs at Chiefs, with the likes of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Given Msimango, Edmilson Dove and Zitha Kwinika playing ahead of him.
Ngcobo had joined from Swallows as the reigning DStv Premiership Defender of the Season in July 2021 but could not live up to expectations and was also somewhat affected by the coaching changes made during his three-year stay in the south of Johannesburg.
He joins new signings Thabang Monare, goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua, Vuyo Letlapa, Keletso Makgalwa and Relebohile Mokhuoane, who were all announced recently by the Limpopo side.
Ahead of the new season, Sekhukhune have also parted ways with Ntokozo Mtsweni, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Lebogang Mabotja, Tshepo Rikhotso, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Edwin Gyimah, Collins Makgaka, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Michael Sarpong, Tashreeq Morris, Thamsanqa Masiya, Rally Bwalya and Moloisane Mokhele.
After intense speculation regarding a new coach to replace the departed Lehlohonolo Seema, Babina Noko have also appointed German Peter Hyballa as their new head coach.
