Sekhukhune United have unveiled former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana midfielder Thabang Monare among three new signings.
Babina Noko have ended weeks of speculation with the announcement, made on Friday, that former Pirates midfielder Monare, has joined the Limpopo outfit. Monare is joined by Loydt Kazapua from Chippa United and Vuyo Letlapa.

Despite releasing more than 10 players ahead of the new campaign, Sekhukhune are determined to put out a strong team when the 2024/25 DStv Premiership season commences in August.
Additionally, the club will be competing in the CAF Confederations Cup. Babina Noko qualified for the Confed Cup as a result of the Nedbank Cup winner (Orlando Pirates) already securing a CAF spot in terms of league position (second).
Although at the twilight of his playing career, Monare bring plenty of experience in the heart of midfield and was part of the Bafana Bafana squad that returned with a bronze medal at the AFCON in January 2024.

The Emalahleni-born star also boats just over 170 appearances in the top-flight of South African football.
Kazapua meanwhile was also at the AFCON with Namibia and was nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Year at the COSAFA awards. The 35-year-old made five appearances for Babina Noko last season.
The third player announced is rising star Vuyo Letlapa, who had been heavily linked with a move to newly promoted Magesi.
Sekhukhune are also still expected to unveil former Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo, who left Amakhosi at the expiry of his contract in June.
