Sekhukhune United head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has revealed how in-form midfielder Sipho Mbule shared his Man of the Match R100 000 prize money with teammates.
Mbule was voted Man of the Match in the last 16 of the Carling Knockout as Babina Noko were defeated 1-0 by Richards Bay. According to Seema, the silky midfielder took half of that prize money and gave it to teammates.

"He took R50 000, and the other R50 000 he shared among the players," Seema told journalists after Sekhukhune United's 2-0 win over The Natal Richboys, this time in a league clash.
"So that shows that he is a team player. He had only a week and a half [to train], but he was the Man of the Match. But he had that thing in him, being a team player, and being welcomed by the group the way he was welcomed.
"He shared the money 50/50 with the group, and with his teammates. The ones that played and the ones that didn't play so that really touched us.
"He is not where we want him to be, but the gesture that he did will really take him far."

Mbule moved to Babina Noko on a season-long loan deal from Mamelodi Sundowns, where he had struggled for game-time, and ultimately with his form.
However, a resurgence may be on the horizon for the man who also recently got his first Bafana call-up since 2021.
"Everyone knows his quality. The good thing is that he looks happy. When he arrived here I had a one-on-one with him," Seema added.
"We spoke and he assured me that he would be a part of the team. He would work hard like everyone else. He is a good player to have around. He has been with a team that has won and that mentality around the players is good to have.
"He has done something that makes you see that makes you see that this guy is happy, he is enjoying himself. "
