Truter banking on Vilakazi and Mokotjo experience

Brandon Truter has backed experienced pair Sibusiso Vilakazi and Kamohelo Mokotjo to add quality to his side as Sekhukhune United eye Nedbank Cup glory.

Babina Noko reinforced their squad with two of the most experienced players the country has to offer in Kamohelo Mokojto and Sibusiso Vilakazi.

After seeing off Cape Town Spurs to book a seat in the last eight of the Nedbank Cup, Truter believes Babina Noko's recent additions have added some real steel and the possibility of going all the way to win the coveted trophy.

"Two model professionals, It was lower division [against Cape Town Spurs] but Kamo [Mokotjo] came close to 75 minutes, completing almost a 90 in that game to that's a an amazing plus for us. He's been working his way back from injury and for minutes as well.

"Vila [Vilakazi] came on and made his debut for us. A few minutes in there but in training you can see the difference in quality.

"I think between the rest of the league and Sundowns, it's the rest of the league, o the lack of quality we possess or lack of experience, however way you want to put it.

"But we [now] definitely have quality within our ranks, we have players that have wo this competition and won trophies in the past and I think that will be a bit of a benefit with progressing to the next round of the Nedbank Cup.

Before their Nedbank Cup clash, Truter's charge will meet the Chilli Boys on Saturday in a DStv Premiership clash.
