Forgotten former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits star midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi is now a free agent following the latest developments in his career.
The attacking midfielder is now free to join a club of his choice after Sekhukhune United, the club he was most recently at, decided not to extend the option they had on his contract.

KickOff has learned, through Vilakazi's agent Mike Makaab, that the Johannesburg-based Limpopo club will not exercise the one-year option that they had with the highly-rated star.
'Vila' arrived at Babina Noko in March 2023 as a free agent, this after he had a fallout with his then-previous club TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic.
This past season, he featured only 13 times in all competitions, quite a poor return for a player of his stature.
According to Makaab, the 34-year-old is already planning his future as he is starting his coaching badges soon.
"They [Sekhukhune] have not exercised the option," Makaab tells KickOff.
"Nothing decided yet [regarding Vilakazi's future]. He is starting his coaching badges."
