This follows after the striker bagged a brace in a 2-0 victory over Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup last-32 on Saturday at FNB Stadium.
Ndoro also struck in a recent 3-1 league win over Mpumalanga Black Aces, and Tinkler is mindful of managing expectations around the Zimbabwean.
“We've always know that he has the ability to score goals. We see every day in training,” Tinkler says.
“But he himself will recognise the fact that, and I spoke to him on many occasions, that just scoring goals is not enough in the modern game.
“You must be able to work extremely hard for the team both defensively and offensively.
“And that was an area of his game that he needed to improve on and he recognises that and he is doing it. And hence he deserves his opportunity to be in the starting line-up.
“But it is now about remaining consistent. We are not going to rely every week on him to score goals. It's a team sport, every one needs to contribute.
“But he has moved in the right direction which is good for him and also good for us.”
Ndoro will hope to lead the line when Pirates host Jomo Cosmos at Orlando Stadium on Saturday in the league.
