Itumeleng Khune looks to continue good Soweto Derby form for Kaizer Chiefs

The Bafana Bafana shotstopper has enjoyed a solid run of form in recent fixtures, having kept five consecutive clean sheets as Amakhosi currently top the Absa Premiership standings.

Heading into this weekend's much anticipated league clash against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, Khune says he is not focussed on improving his record but rather on the success of the team.

"I am not in the game to break any records,” Khune told his club's website. "I play to better myself and to help my teammates."

"My success is their success, their success is my success and, if we work together, we will benefit as a team.”

The Glamour Boys, along with Golden Arrows, currently have the best points tally after six games, but sit above the Durban-based side by virtue of a superior goal difference – something Khune and his defence deserve credit for.
