Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Khune tight-lipped over future

Khune's existing deal expires in June, with big-spenders Mamelodi Sundowns rumoured to be monitoring the situation.

"I cannot comment on that at the moment, my club and my agent are busy negotiating, so I cannot comment unfortunately," Khune said after playing in Amakhosi's 1-0 win over Ajax Cape Town in Johannesburg last night.

Meanwhile, the former Bafana Bafana number one says Chiefs are on a mission going into Saturday's Soweto Derby with arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.

The Glamour Boys are leading the race for League honours as they enjoy a 10-point cushion at the summit with nine Absa Premiership matches to go.

"Like usual we need them [the fans] to fill up the stadium. We expect to see gold and black, and for us we know what's at stake. We need to get those three points to widen the gap at the top... that is our mission."
