Kaizer Chiefs injury update ahead of Soweto Derby: Lebese, Parker, Karuru, Mokgothu

Lebese, Amakhosi's top scorer this season with eight goals, sustained a groin injury a fortnight ago in a goalless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Parker, who has struck four times in 2015/16, took a knock in his side's 2-1 win over Bidvest Wits on December 19.

However, Chiefs' medical team said on the club's website: 'Both [Lebese and Parker] are involved in training, continuing with their recovery journey to full fitness.'

Meanwhile, Zimbabwean midfielder Ovidy Karuru and left-back Levy Mokgothu are struggling with blisters they picked up in a MultiChoice Diski Challenge clash two weeks ago.

The Glamour Boys will face Pirates at FNB Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15h30.
