Kaizer Chiefs' Willard Katsande reaction to Soweto Derby draw with Orlando Pirates

Chiefs drew 1-1 with Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership, with Katsande opening the scoring before Thamsanqa Gabuza equalised after the break at FNB Stadium.

Katsande said: "Overall it was a game of two halves. We dominated the first half. We should have killed off the game in the first half but unfortunately we couldn't convert our chances.

"We knew in the second half they would throw everything at us, but overall it was a good game."

The Zimbabwean midfielder added: "We should have utilised our chances. In the second half we were a little bit on the back foot, but the guys worked really hard.

"I think we deserved three points but unfortunately we have to go back to the drawing board and focus on the next encounter."
