The Buccaneers will be looking to halt archrivals Kaizer Chiefs’ charge to the Absa Premiership title, having themselves been on a very decent run which has brought four wins in five League games.
Erasmus, who scored in midweek in the 1-1 draw against Free State Stars, says no extra motivation is needed for the Derby at FNB Stadium.
“Everybody is psyched up,” he tells Pirates’ official website. "We are all raising our hands to be picked.”
Erasmus adds: “It might be the Derby, but the approach is the same as for any other match because the Derby offers the same amount of points as any other match.
“For us, it’s to build on what we have been doing this year by continuing to collect points. On a personal note, I want to continue from where I left off by scoring goals and help the team.”
Erasmus is currently on eight League goals, one behind Free State Stars’ Moeketsi Sekola.
