Cristiano Ronaldo and Nike drop new CR7 Air Force 1 range

Cristiano Ronaldo has added the CR7 Nike Air Force 1 to his growing brand as football's first billionaire continues to expand his incredible business empire.

Ronaldo, who recently turned 36 celebrated the month by reportedly acquiring one of 10 Buggati Centodieci's made by the Italian car manufacturer but this week he ensured that the celebrations weren't over yet - for his fans of course.

As one of the recognized and marketable athletes of all-time his inclusion to his loyal followers across the globe is what elevates his brand to unapparelled heights in comparison to his sporting rivals.

Breaking the internet one IG post at a time

Taking to his official Instagram account this week, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner revealed the latest CR7 Nike offering will be able to be fully customized on the official website or app before delivery after being launched on Monday 22 February.

"Thank you for your endless love and support! To celebrate my birthday month, my gift back to you is the opportunity to customize your own CR7 AF1 with #NikeByYou," he wrote.

The most popular sportsman x the most popular sneaker

In a match made in heaven the Air Force 1, which is a regular feature in most sneakerheads' collections would set you back £175 (R3600) before delivery and customs payment.

Taking into the 'upscale' tastes of the footballing superstar it offers the choice of a smooth grain or tumbled leather finish and even silver/gold mirrored chrome edges.

According to Nike if you are seeking the full-on bling effect or a sleek classy design, their custom offering can fulfill whatever you desire for the special CR7 range that debuted this month.

While it's available in a variety of colours via the customisation offering, the original white and gold version can be seen in the gallery above.
