In many respects, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi is considerably underrated, and the same can be said about his classy personal style.
Being a goalkeeper for a club like Kaizer Chiefs probably comes with an intense amount of pressure because teams of that stature have high expectations. The Nigerian national team keeper has certainly held his own between the sticks at Chiefs, especially under the tenure of Ernst Middendorp.

Another department where he has shown formidability is his wardrobe. The neat and elegant shot-stopper has consistently shown snazziness with a wide range of style and grooming choices that are inclusive of suits and traditional attire.
Akpeyi's dynamic fashion sense demonstrates maturity and in a way shows his composing aura that he usually displays inside his 18-yard area.
The 35-year-old keeper spent close to fours years with Nelson Mandela Bay outfit Chippa United, where he developed himself to become the top keeper that he is right now, and he has even gone as far as being a crucial member of the Super Eagles.
Akpeyi was given his first national team call-up by legendary Nigerian coach Stephen Keshi back in March 2015, and the following year he headed to the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil where he made a solitary appearance against Colombia.
More recently, the family-oriented goalie was awarded the Goalkeeper of The Year Award at Nigeria's Baller Awards 2020.
