What's the story?
The Mamelodi Sundowns star, who was an ever-present figure in the 2020/21 league winning campaign, likes his shoes and often shows them off on Instagram. Some footballers prefer collecting cars while others like to wear clothes with luxury brands but there is a small few who like their shoes.
Regarding the left-back, he is part of that elite few and can be seen wearing shoes with brands associated in the high fashion range.

Lakay's new shoes
The baller got himself the Jordan retro 11 Bred Playoffs. The shoe was originally released in 1996 but there have been five versions of the same kicks since that year with the latest one being released in 2019.
The footwear is ranked high on Michael Jordan's collection and is undoubtedly one of the best Air Jordan shoes of all time.
The second new shoe he showed was a 2021 "lightning" Air Jordan 4s. The new kicks was only released last week and the former Bloemfontein Celtic star has already got his hands on a pair.
The two shoes have a combined price of R3200 with the kicks costing R1800 and R1400 respectively.

The Masandawana defender is not a slouch when it comes to his collection, as he is often seen on Instagram in the trendy Nike merch which includes Nike Air Max 90s, Air Jordan 4s, and Nike Air Force 1s amongst others.
