US multi-sports brand Under Armour are slowly making inroads into the highly competitive soccer market spearheaded by their SpeedForm boot.
In what could potentially be a huge long-term coup for the brand, Under Armour have signed up Manchester United’s promising young forward Memphis Depay to lead the marketing charge as their marque ambassador for soccer.
Having already appeared in several Under Armour SpeedForm colourways, the Dutch international can now be seen wearing a distinctly military style SpeedForm dubbed the ‘Multi Camo’ during matches.
The 21-year-old laced up the SpeedForm ‘Multi Camo’ for the first time during Man U’s 2-1 loss to PSV in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The Red Devils may have failed to put up a fight against Depay’s former club however they’ll be plenty battles ahead this season to match the boots.
