Maradona passed away at the age of 60 at his home in Tigre, Argentina, last month after suffering a suspected heart attack, with his death leaving the footballing world in mourning at the loss of one of the sport's true icons.
The impact of legendary forward's passing was particularly felt in Naples, where he is regarded as Serie A side Napoli's greatest-ever player following his exploits with the club during the 1980s and 1990s.
Maradona scored 115 goals in 259 appearances for the club – which, until recently, was a record – and guided the Italian outfit to its only two league titles to date in the 1986/87 and 1989/90 seasons.
His legacy at Napoli, which includes the club retiring the No. 10 jersey and posthumously renaming their stadium in his honour, has served as an inspiration for future generations, including current captain Insigne, who recently went under the needle to pay tribute.

"I grew up hearing my family's stories about your exploits, seeing and reviewing your endless games. You were the greatest player in history, you were Our Diego. I was lucky enough to meet you, talk to you, meet you, and I don't deny that my legs were shaking.
