Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs were both named among the global rankings of top football club shirts over the past decade.
Chiefs' 2019/20 home kit grabbed headlines when it was initially leaked in May last year, with many fans expressing their disgust at the pattern usage kit suppliers Nike provided.
However, it first earned global recognition after being named among the top 10 kits in the world at the start of the season by Unisport, who rated it as the second-best behind Italian giants Inter Milan's current away jersey.

Well, Amakhosi will be proud to learn that they also cracked the list of top 30 shirts in the world from the last decade, which was ushered out at the end of 2019.
This time, SoccerBible placed them in the top 15 – one better than Inter's away jersey, which came in at 14, and just below France Women's Away jersey that was donned at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
What may come as a surprise though, is Orlando Pirates sneaking in ahead of their arch-rivals with their 2017 retro lifestyle shirt released by adidas.
Though The Buccaneers never physically wore the shrt, it was unveiled simultaneously with their playing kits as a limited-edition 'stadium' shirt that featured the same EQT stripes as the playing kit.
The retro jersey fell inside SB's Top 10, coming in at number eight – six places ahead of Chiefs, and just behind Juventus' fourth kit of the current season.
