Zambia international Nathan Sinkala has revealed that he is open to a return to the DStv Premiership after parting ways with Stellenbosch FC.
Sinkala is currently a free agent after leaving Stellenbosch FC upon the expiration of his contract last season and is back in his homeland of Zambia while he awaits his next move.
The 31-year-old midfielder is in talks over a potential move to Libya but could make a return to South African football, where he was once linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns prior to joining Stellies in January 2020.

"For now, I am still in Zambia, but I am talking to a team in Libya so I'm just waiting for my agent to finalise everything," Sinkala tells KICK OFF. "You never know, though. This is football and football can take you anywhere
"As for now, I am a free agent, so if there is a chance to come to South Africa, I am available to come. I can't say there is no chance. If there is an opportunity, then I will definitely consider it."
Sinkala ultimately made 55 appearances during his two-and-a-half-year spell in Stellenbosch and reflects fondly on his time with the club, albeit without having had the opportunity of a proper farewell due to an injury he sustained mid-way through the campaign.
"I got injured and was still recovering toward the end of the season but I think I had a great few years in Stellenbosch. They were good people and it is a good city, so I had a good time there," he concludes.
Prior to joining Stellies, Sinkala enjoyed great success on the African continent where he won the CAF Champions League and back-to-back CAF Confederations Cup trophies with TP Mazembe.
