Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker has revealed that he holds no grudges from his side's MTN8 exit to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of this weekend's league encounter against the Soweto giants.
In a battle between sixth and fifth place in DStv Premiership, Stellenbosch FC are set to play host to Kaizer Chiefs at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday when the two clubs go head to head in league action.
The weekend's encounter comes just over a month after the Amakhosi defeated Stellies in the MTN8 quarter-final following a dramatic penalty shootout at the Danie Craven arena.
Home team head coach Steve Barker is holding no grudges from his side's disappointing cup exit and is instead focussed on attaining all three points in their quest to leapfrog Chiefs in the league standings.

"I am still disappointed, obviously we need to get other these things eventually but we were disappointed that we weren't able to progress to the semi-final of the MTN8," Barker told the media on Friday.
"I felt it was an opportunity at our home ground against Chiefs, the way we played and the chances we created during the match, I believe with a little more luck on the day we should have progressed.
"I never go into matches holding grudges or wanting revenge, but it is an opportunity for us to be up against a big team like Kaizer Chiefs.
"They are a direct opponent right now on the log, they are one position ahead of us and one point ahead of us, so it's an important game for us to ensure that we put every effort into getting a positive, three point result."
