Versatile attacker Judas Moseamedi on the move again

Versatile attacker Judas Moseamedi is on the move yet again following confirmation of his latest departure from DStv Premiership side Stellenbosch.

Moseamedi joined Stellies at the beginning of the 2021/22 season and scored on debut against Orlando Pirates before going on to finish with six goals in an impressive debut season.

The 29-year-old's contribution has since diminished so far this season after failing to score in six appearances as his first-team opportunities became more rare.

So far Moseamedi has played just 136 minutes this season.

This has ultimately led to the club reaching a decision to part ways with the versatile attacker as he hasn't been able to fit into the playing style adopted in the Cape Winelands.

KickOff understands that the player's departure from Stellenbosch has been confirmed from within the club.

Though he has never been a prolific forward and never reached double figures on the scoring charts in a single season, he is known to be forceful and effective in harassing defenders.

He famously scored a brace against Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of last season.

Moseamadi also averages a goal in almost every six games and will not be without admirers after leaving the Western Cape.

Richards Bay are believed to be interested alongside former club Maritzburg United who will need to first offload unwanted attacking players to make room for Moseamedi.

There has been consideration of a surprise move to a club in Gauteng but that is hanging in the balance.
