The 32-year-old joined the Cape Town-based club at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign, making 32 appearances while scoring six goals.
According to a club official at Maritzburg, Moseamedi spent a brief spell at the club in KwaZulu-Natal.
"He was here but he didn't really train with the team," a source tells KickOff.
"I don't think the club wants him back."
Meanwhile, Moseamedi himself confirmed he is currently back in Tzaneen as his club search continues.
"I spent two days at Richards Bay, at the moment I'm home still putting something together," Moseamedi tells KickOff.
