REVEALED | Former Pirates star's SuperSport deal hits snag

Former Orlando Pirates defender Wayde Jooste's purported move to rivals SuperSport United has hit a potential snag due to financial constraints.

Jooste has been training with SuperSport under the tutelage of Gavin Hunt with the aim of securing a permanent deal.

The 30-year-old has reportedly grown frustrated as SuperSport have delayed their decision in tabling an offer over alleged financial constraints.

Jooste could now evaluate his options as he is free to join a club of his choice beyond Thursday's transfer deadline as a free agent.

"The boy has been training with SuperSport United for such a long time," a source close to the player reveals to KickOff.

"Gavin Hunt is happy with him and wants to sign him, but the biggest problem is the financial issues at SuperSport United.

"Chippa United are interested. The boy wants to play football, and hopefully something will happen soon."

SuperSport United similarly delayed a decision on veteran attacker Bernard Parker who dramatically joined TS Galaxy.
