SuperSport United assistant coach Andre Arendse has given his verdict on Vincent Pule, who was on the score sheet for Matsatsantsa in an MTN8 quarter-final defeat to his former side Orlando Pirates.
SuperSport crashed out of the competition after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Pirates at a packed Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening.
Olisa Ndah had opened the scoring early in the game, before Pule headed past Sipho Chaine to level matters early in the second stanza.
With the game having gone to extra time, it was the Soweto giants who dug deeper and found the goals through Monnapule Saleng and Evidence Makgopa.

Despite the defeat, Arendse was left impressed with Pule's effort and believes there is more to come from the man affectionately known as 'Mashonisa'.
"He is a player you would have in your team any day, any day," said the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper in the post-match press conference.
"He's worked with Gavin[Hunt] and myself before, we know what he's capable of and, despite his age, he is still young. We've seen what he can do in pre-season friendlies, in different games. We've worked with him in different positions around the team.
"He offered us a more attacking role today, firstly out in wider areas, then we brought him closer to just behind Bradley [Grobler] when Bradley was still on the field.
"And he gives you that, he gives you that support and he's got goals in him. My hats off to him today for being respectful after scoring against his old club, which is the right thing to do.
"That's just the nature of Pule and I think we're going to have a really good season ahead of us with a player like that."

Pule was among several players released by the Sea Robbers at the end of last season.
He had endured a frustrating campaign that saw him make just 11 appearances across all competitions, starting just three matches all season.
With the departure of Shandre Campbell, Pule looks set to play a crucial role at the Hunt-led outfit.
