Head coach Gavin Hunt has called for caution on calls for highly-regarded defender Ime Okon to be selected for Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad after a meteoric rise for SuperSport United.
At just 19 years old, Okon has cemented himself in Hunt's starting line-up with mature performances while marshalling the Matsatsantsa defence.

"I told him let's not get sidetracked by that [Bafana Bafana links], that will find its way," Hunt said.
"Continue to play, and it will find its path. He got picked in the preliminary squad twice now, and I'm sure they'll have a look at him in the weeks to come.
"He might be an interesting selection to make in January, just as an option or to gain experience.
"He's certainly got huge potential.
"But potential means nothing, you know South Africa. But he's got big attributes which is the most important thing.
"Those sorts of things [being selected for Bafana Bafana] will lead its way wherever he goes and in what direction he goes.
"I don't think he should worry about that now."
