"I'm happy with how my career turned out, though there were challenges there and there, I'm doing well for myself, no regrets," Rantjie tells KickOff.
"I enjoyed my football from the tender age of 17. I think I've done enough for myself.
"I've won cups with the teams I have played for. Football is a platform for me to be where I am today.
"When I left SuperSport I was supposed to go to Mamelodi Sundowns, but Pitso [Mosimane] said he couldn't sign me because of the number of players that are playing in my position.
"I went to Wits and played each and every game."
1) GK-Itumeleng Khune: I played with him in the Under-23s, good reflexes and good distributor of the ball.
2) RB-Siboniso Gaxa: Very good in defending one on one's.
3) LB-Tsepo Masilela: One on one he was a good player you couldn't go past him.
4) CB-Jeffrey Ntuka: From the age of 13 years I could tell he would go far. We went to Northern Ireland and that's where he was scouted by Chelsea.
5) CB-Robyn Johannes: Good on one on one, and is always focused at the job on hand.
6) CM-Masilo Modubi: I played with him at the School Of Excellence and he ended up in Belgium.
7) CM-Gift Leremi: One of the best players in South Africa. He had the power, skill and speed.
8) RW-Richard Rantjie: I listened to my seniors, and I was always a humble person. Always willing to learn.
9) LW-Junior Khanye: One on one he will finish you. He was good in scoring goals.
10) ST-Lerato Chabangu: For the composure inside the box, the skill and the pace.
11) ST-Lebohang Mokoena: The skill that he had, him and Lerato Chabangu will compliment each other.
