In this edition of My Muti Story former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Tshepo Bulu reveals his experiences with the juju.
The 38-year-old who also played for SuperSport United, Black Aces, Sivutsa Stars and Mozambique side Ferroviaro says there are some funny moments that always happen during muti rituals.

"Muti is something that is very normal in football, most people believe in it, even though there are those few who don't," Bulu tells KickOff.
"Imihlolo siyibonile ebholweni. There are very few teams that don't use muti, but most do.
"Have you ever heard of a 'Speed Trap'? Once your team bus drives over that you are doomed.
"Sometimes they put it at the gate, dressing rooms or in the tunnel.
"At big clubs like Chiefs and Pirates before the start of every season, they organise some ceremonies where players will be put in a self-made steam room. All this takes place in a secret location.
"They even slaughter a cow, and everyone will be drinking umqombothi [Traditional African Beer]. Remember sometimes as players we talk to each other about what's happening in our respective clubs.
"Even on match days in hotels, you are instructed to bathe in Muti while saying stuff like 'Let me be the one who plays today and not my teammate[laughs].'
"I remember one-day Bobsteak came running in the change room complaining and pleading with players to reduce the use of Muti because it was now confusing our coach Muhsin Ertugral who couldn't decide whom to put in the starting line-up. Remember other players used their own stuff from home.
"Instead of reading out from the team sheet Itumeleng Khune's name as our goalkeeper for that day, Muhsin mentioned a striker's name instead.
"I could hear some of my teammates talking amongst themselves saying, 'Hey so and so is using strong muti guys, it makes the coach only think about him."
