SuperSport backed to beat Pirates in race for CAF CL spot

Orlando Pirates legend Andries Sebola is backing SuperSport United to beat the Sea Robbers to a CAF Champions League spot.

SuperSport, Pirates, Richards Bay and Kaizer Chiefs are all in the race for second position in the standings.

"We are moving further away because most of our teams are playing with inexperienced players, and our coaches don't have the experience of playing in Africa," Sebola tells KickOff.

"Sundowns are the only team that is going to do well in Africa.

"But anyway I believe SuperSport will finish in the second spot.

"They are playing well they are collecting points where it's necessary they've got an experienced coach.

"But in Africa, they will struggle because of their inexperienced youngsters. They will not survive in Africa.

"Orlando Pirates I think they will finish in the third spot, their loss to Chiefs they were just unlucky.

"They might do well in Africa though, because they've got a good squad with experienced players.

"Richards Bay you can tell the boys are getting tired, it's fatigue. For them to finish in the top eight I think it might be good for the coach and the club.

"Their lack of DStv Premiership experience is being exposed now. Most teams have studied them.

"Kaizer Chiefs I don't see them getting far, the only thing that they must do is to sustain their position in the top eight.

"I don't think they will qualify even for the Confederations Cup. Their coach is inexperienced, he was lucky to win over the weekend otherwise he was gone."
