SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt has revealed why one of the most decorated footballers in South African football, Sibusiso Vilakazi, was recently spotted training with the club.
Vilakazi has been a free agent since parting ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of last season.

Babina Noko are understood to have opted against exercising the one-year renewal option they hand on the veteran's contract.
He had joined the club midway through the season prior following his shock exit from TS Galaxy in March 2023.
'Vila' was recently spotted training with SuperSport, which piqued the curiosity of many, especially since club CEO Stan Matthews recently told the media that he will not be signing any players over the age of 30 for the coming season, when asked about the likelihood of S'fiso Hlanti joining.
However, Hunt has insisted that the former Mamelodi Sundowns man training with Matsatsantsa was to help maintain his fitness levels and that although he would love to sign the midfielder, the club unfortunately can't.
"He just asked me to train and get fit, but no, we can't sign him and he knows that.
"He's still good enough [for the PSL], I would sign him, yes."
The Tshwane side have already concluded the majority of their transfer business with the signings of duo Brooklyn Poggenpoel, Keanin Ayer and Thakasani Mbanjwa.

SuperSport also opted against signing former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Keagan Dolly.
