Matsatsantsa started the Betway Premiership on a bad foot after losing 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in the Tshwane Derby on Tuesday evening.
SuperSport started with striker Nokutenda Mangezi from Zimbabwe up front against the Brazilians at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Mangezi has signed a one-year contract with Matsatsantsa with an option to renew, with assistant coach Andre Arendse saying they are looking forward to adding one or two players before tomorrow's transfer window deadline.
"We are working hard to boost that because we have key players missing. We have got (Grant) Margeman out for months, and we have (Bradley) Grobler out for months, so these are key players missing for the team and big for the team and we have to replace them. We are hoping to secure one or two (new signings) before the window closes," said Arendse, who was doing media duties with head coach Gavin Hunt out suspended.

SuperSport have been linked with striker Zakhele Lepasa from Orlando Pirates.
Lepasa has been struggling with action since the beginning of the season and is still yet to make his first appearance in both the domestic and CAF Champions League.
