Where are they now - Cavann Sibeko

In this edition of Where Are They Now former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates midfielder Mafika Cavann Sibeko reveals what he has been up to these days.

Sibeko says a persisting injury is what put an end to his football career.

"Injuries and football politics forced me to hang my boots," Sibeko tells KickOff.

"I retired in 2009, about how my career panned out I'm happy, and I'm not happy.

"It was always my dream to win trophies. Something I've been dreaming about since I was young.

"But at the same time, I feel like my injury was cut short.

"I'm staying in Tembisa where you get all creme da le creme of South African football talent.

"I'm coaching at a school, but now the problem is football at school is not running throughout the year.

"I'm coaching at a women's college, but now school football has not yet started.

"I also coach a men's team here in Tembisa. Well, things are not really going that well in my life because currently, I'm only helping eKasi.

"Things will only improve when school football kicks off again.

"At least there I receive something, at least I will be able to put some bread on the table.

"I'm not married yet, me and the baby have gone our separate ways."
