Mhango responds to non-payment allegations

Moroka Swallows striker Frank Gabadinho Mhango has responded to reports that he is refusing to train with the club.

According to rumours, the Malawian international has stopped training with the club following the club's failure to pay his salary.

According to reports Mhango, Ntsako Makhubela, and Gregory Damons have decided to quit until they are paid what is due to them.

Mhango joined Swallows from AmaZulu on August 5, 2023.

He has scored two goals in the eight matches he has played in so far for Swallows in all competitions this season.

Mhango says he has no salary issues at Swallows, and he is currently enjoying his stay at the club.

"There is no issue regarding my salary at Swallows," Mhango tells KickOff.

"I can confirm that's a lie. I just saw the stories when I got to training.

"It shocked me, and I asked myself, when was that because I have never been absent from training.

"I don't know who is spreading this about me, I just saw the whole thing when my teammates showed it to me.

"They were saying, look what people are saying about you and the other guys.

"I also told them I don't know what these people are talking about. Everything is fine here.

"I have no idea whether the people who are saying all this are against the club or against me.

"Swallows supporters musty just keep coming to the stadium, like they always do to keep up the hype.

"As Swallows supporters they must remain positive, whatever they hear outside they must not take it seriously or be bothered by it."

Swallows next face TS Galaxy FC in the DStv Premiership encounter scheduled for Wednesday at Dobsonville Stadium.
