Legendary striker Noel Cousins is unconvinced that a top-flight striker will score more than 15 goals this season in the DStv Premiership.
The former Moroka Swallows star says the sooner clubs introduce striker-coaches in our game will be the better.
"Just simple like that, if you not doing your academy properly, and you not focusing on the specific position, the level of football in the PSL is not going to be what you want," Cousins tells KickOff.

"There's nobody coaching the strikers, there's nobody who is taking young players that he can see has an eye for goal and maturing them into future strikers.
"So, they not going to fall off the apple tree. That I can promise you.
"If you don't put the hard work into coaching these youngsters to become future 40-goal season goal scorers.
"You got to teach them from a young age, and unfortunately we are not doing that as a country at the moment.
"At Sundowns Shalulile he has already proved he can score, but he needs to score a little bit more.
"But Chiefs, Pirates I really don't think there can be anybody there who can score more than 10 or 15 goals there.
"Bimenyimana, I don't judge a striker on one season, with strikers you wait for the season after season.
"Those are the strikers you are looking back on, the Shane MacGregors, Thomas 'Who's fooling Who?' Hlongwane and the Fani Madidas... scored consistently over 20 goals a season.
"Those are the strikers you will want in your team.
"My coaching started with my dad when I was 10 years old.
"As a striker, you should understand that you can't hesitate, you can't be in front of goals and change your mind.
"I've seen a lot of players wanting to change their minds, wanting to lay the ball off, wanting to have a shot from an impossible angle but when they are in front of goals, they want to make a pass.
"Once you are in the box you don't have to second guess yourself you already know what you need to do when the ball gets in there. Anticipation.
"You develop those skills at training.
"But none of this is happening at the moment so I can't see a player scoring more than 15 or 20 goals this season."
