Komphela has confirmed that his players have not attended training sessions for the past ten days before reporting for duty on Friday.
"I have to send the voice note to say guys everybody has to report for duty and find a way," Komphela told the journalists at the Dobsonville stadium after the league match against SuperSport United.
"To be honest it could have been bad if we didn't honor the fixture or something worse than this . Okey the result is bad but you want to tell me we could gone worse than this.
"I think in the past there was a match where Santos got three points from us. We didn't honor the fixture, it happen in the past, it can't happen again.
"We need to respect the game and respect to those who value the game," he added.
The Dube Birds are due to travel to Hammarsdale to face Golden Arrows at the Mpumalanga Stadium on December 23.
