Former Kaizer Chiefs tactician Ernst Middendorp has made a sensational return to the DStv Premiership as head coach of fellow Soweto side Swallows FC.
Middendorp has signed a three-year deal with the Dube Birds, according to an official club announcement.

The German has now coached more than six teams in the top-flight of South African football including Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows and Chippa United since 2005 to join Amakhosi.
Middendorp has since replaced coach, Dylan Kerr after parting ways with the Dube Birds at the beginning of the season.
"Swallows Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Coach, Ernst Middendorp for three seasons.
"Coach Middendorp comes with a wealth of experience, and we believe he will be the right person to guide the club in the right direction.
"We thank Coach Musa and the technical team, who steered the ship on an interim basis while the search was on for the Head Coach.
"We would like to welcome Coach Middendorp to the Nest and wish him the best of luck," read a club statement.
