FC Barcelona's home kit for the 2020/21 campaign has been unveiled, and the sleek new strip looks to have been inspired by one of the club's most successful sides.

On Monday, Nike released the first images of Barca's new home kit for the 2020/21 campaign, and in doing so confirmed rumours that the club would be returning to a more traditional look after sporting a chequered pattern this season.

While the Blaugrana are yet to formally explain the inspiration behind the kit, the shirt bears striking similarities to the strip worn during the 2010/11 season, during which the club won the UEFA Champions League, LaLiga and Spanish Super Cup titles.

Nike's latest design sees the return of Barca's famed Blaugrana stripes, enclosed in a gold border, while the gold crew neck collar worn a decade ago also replaces the V-neck cut that has been used in recent seasons.

The front of the kit is adorned by the club's principal sponsor Rakuten, while Beko feature as the sleeve sponsors on the left arm. The name of charitable organisation Unicef, who are long-time partners with Barca, is emblazoned on the small of the back.
