The French midfielder remains one of the most highly coveted players in world football at the moment and it’s not only Europe’s elite clubs vying for his signature.
In the sportswear game, adidas have won the race to secure Pogba as their latest high-profile athlete to join their ranks.
“This is the first sponsor contract I’ve signed and it’s a very important decision for me. I chose adidas because we have shared passions and values. adidas has the same vibe as I do, on and off the pitch,” explained the 23-year-old.
Pogba further mentioned that adidas' reputation for celebrating imagination and creativity was enough to convince him that this partnership was the right fit.
“I love music, dance and fashion but my biggest passion is football and I needed a brand that would give me the space to express myself and explore new frontiers. In adidas I found a partner with the same goals as me,” he concluded.
