Bafana Bafana rubbish claims head coach Stuart Baxter close to joining PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs

Amakhosi are currently in the search for a new coach following Steve Komphela's departure at the end of last season.

This week, reports in TimesLive suggested Baxter could be on the verge of a return to Naturena.

However, Bafana have played down such claims, having posted on their official Twitter account:

Coach Stuart Baxter has a contract with SAFA no one has spoken to the Association regarding otherwise.
We will treat rumours doing rounds as just rumours.

Chiefs have already started strengthening their playing options for next season, which has included the marquee signing of Khama Billiat from Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
