Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt not rushing to make a decision on Siyabonga Zulu

Zulu was released by Absa Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in January due to ill-discipline. He was at the club for a year, as he struggled to break into the first team ahead of Tebogo Langerman and Lyle Lakay.

When asked about Zulu after training on Wednesday morning, Hunt did not seem keen to sign the former Platinum Stars player.

The Clever Boys have Sifiso Hlanti and Lehlohonolo Nonyane who are options at left-back, so Hunt may not be looking to add another player in that position.

"He's just asked to come and train. I'm not going to make a decisions now about that. So we will see," Hunt said in brief after the team’s training session yesterday ahead of this weekend's Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clash against Chippa United.

The two sides meet at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday (20h15).
